Carlin Nalley

Carlin Nalley began a lifelong career as an educator in Illinois in the Lisle School District in 1966 and he would go on to serve as a teacher, coach, administrator and Superintendent over the course of the next 30 years.

He first became an IHSA official in the late 1970's so that Lisle High School could begin hosting track meets at the school. His efforts would be rewarded years later in perpetuity, as the Lisle Invitational Track Meet was renamed the Carlin Nalley Track & Field Meet. Still an active IHSA official today, Carlin has served as the Head Finish Line Judge at the Spring Spectacular every year since it moved to Charleston.
