Jordan Sieger

Jordan is currently a senior at Shelbyville High School and to date, is the youngest Rookie of the Year Award winner in our Association’s history.  Jordan began participating in Track and Field in 7th grade, first as a sprinter, but later transitioned to a middle distance runner.  He has competed at both the IHSA State Cross Country and Track and Field Finals.  He attributes his success as an athlete to his coaches, Kevin Kramer and Chris Mosley.  Jordan began his officiating career last year as a junior, but has helped at Track and Field meets since 8th grade.  He owes his start to Ben Guyot who encouraged him join the IHSA which he did at the age of 17.  He was mentored by several officials around the State, but truly appreciates the help from Mike Powers who help connect Jordan with the officiating community.
